Emotional Well-Being of the Lungs
Five Element Theory Application II
the nature of metal element

(Prerequisite: completion of a Level One class in Yi Ren® Qigong)

With Guan-Cheng Sun, Ph.D.

During the internal cultivation process, the issue of emotional passive reactive response can be one of the most challenging aspects for many individuals. For example, anger, excitement, worry, sadness, and fear - everything depends on the body on the inside in terms of how one responds to the outside world. The nature of an emotional passive reactive response drives the internal energy outward and causes loss of energy. Such passive reactive responses are generally not conducive to health, and sometimes may be destructive. The series on the development of emotional well-being is designed to increase our awareness levels of our emotions and to cultivate them and to transform the emotions for self-healing, self-nourishment and self-transcendence. This seminar introduces methods for developing emotional strength of the lungs and for transforming the sad energy and sorrow energy to self-healing and courage and self-realization on the emotions of the lungs.

Yi Ren® Medical Qigong Level Three

(Prerequisite: completion of a Level Two class in Yi Ren® Qigong)

With Guan-Cheng Sun, Ph.D.

This course introduces methods for developing the extraordinary energy pathways. Practitioners will gain an experiential understanding of the functions of the extraordinary energy pathways at the subtle energy level. While the practices in Levels I and II directly connect with the internal organs and their energy pathways, this Level III class develop the internal energy network between the energy pathways of internal organs, thereby promoting internal balance and harmony. The extraordinary energy pathway developing exercises directly affect the brain/nervous system and the endocrine system. These Level III exercises will help practitioners to manage and regulate the internal energy system and to gain greater self-mastery.
